Why should you choose a Catholic Education?
At MTCES, the curriculum is built on the foundation of Academic Excellence, Faith and Community.
Academic Excellence is achieved through our small class sizes, with instruction by highly educated teachers and support staff using state-of-the-art technology. MTCES meets the high standards set by both the State of Ohio and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, preparing students for the rest of their educational career. In addition to learning “the basics,” our students also receive Spanish language, technology, music and art instruction. Public speaking practice and exercises are also a key component to the curriculum, as this skill is a proven confidence builder.
Nearly 100% percent of our students continue their education at Catholic high schools; and 98% of those students finish high school, with 97% going to college.
At MTCES, a child’s Catholic Faith is reaffirmed with daily prayer, bi-weekly mass and academics that include the Catholic faith throughout. Catholic Schools have a unique opportunity: as private institutions, they are able to incorporate the Catholic faith throughout the curriculum. Religion is not just another offering in the curriculum; it is an integral part of student life. Teachers do not have to back away from moral judgment and ethics discussions. At Mother Teresa, they are part of the curriculum, as the message of the Gospels is brought into modern context.
The Community at MTCES guides young people toward making good, moral choices in their daily lives. Teachers partner with, and support, parents. The faith, commitment and morals parents work to instill in the home are reinforced and reaffirmed throughout the day, in both the classroom and in extracurricular activities.
Community means many things: as God’s children, we celebrate the community of our family. Our MTCES community is a part of our extended family, and we work together in faith to build and maintain a strong, healthy community. MTCES students and their families also support a number of parish and neighborhood communities, and work with groups both locally and internationally provide support and service in the spirit of our namesake, Mother Teresa.
A Catholic Education provides a child with a firm foundation, one that will support them throughout their lifetime.
