What parishes are associated with MTCES?This school is a private Catholic school, much like Summit Country Day and St. Ursula Villa. It has no direct financial association with any parish, though we draw students from the following parishes: Holy Family, Our Lady Of Sorrows, St. Julie Billiart, St. John the Evangelist, St. Maximilian Kolbe, and St. Susanna.

How can this school be a Catholic and a private school? Most schools in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati are directly associated with a parish, so it is understandable that there is confusion on this point. We worked closely with the Archdiocesan Office of Education to found this school. As part of the process, we were required to obtain approval from the Archdiocesan Education Commission as well as from Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk. As a private Catholic school operating under an affiliation with the archdiocese, we follow a very specific education curriculum, called the Graded Course Of Study, set forth by the Archdiocesan Education Commission. This curriculum is followed by all Archdiocesan schools, whether parish or private. In addition to MTCES, there are only three other private Catholic schools recognized by the Archdiocese: Summit Country Day, Royalmont and St. Ursula Villa.

Is there a waiting list?Unfortunately, due to the growing population in Warren and Butler counties, a waiting list might develop for certain grade levels. Although we do what we can to accommodate those families seeking a Catholic education for their child, we are also committed to small class sizes. As a result, at times there simply are not enough openings to accommodate the demand.

Will there be bus service to Mother Teresa? Each school district can choose whether or not it is cost-feasible to bus your child. Currently, Lakota, Mason and Monroe provide bus service to Mother Teresa. All other students are responsible for their own transportation.
