2010-2011 BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP

Since its establishment in 1998, Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School has grown from a school of 20 kindergarteners to a school of 451 students in grades K-8, with two classes for each grade. It serves 265 families, primarily from Butler and Warren Counties, and employs 40+ individuals.

A Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School (MTCES) Business Partnership positions you and your organization as an investor in Butler County, Ohio’s newest Catholic elementary school. As a Business Partner, your organization will have a presence within the communities of Butler and Warren County and in MTCES programs and events throughout the 2010-2011 school year. A Business Partnership is your official endorsement of the values MTCES cultivates in its students—academic excellence, faith formation, family, and community service.

MTCES provides you with a variety of opportunities so that you can participate on the level that presents the best benefits for your organization.

Your organization will be recognized as a Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School Business Partner:

• On our Partnership Easel prominently located at the school’s main entrance and at events throughout the year including: Extravaganza, Derby Dance, Mother Teresa 5K and MORE
• In every issue of the Volunteer Voices school newsletter
• On the home page of www.mtces.org
• PLUS, Partners at the $500+ level will become members of the 2010-2011 Mother Teresa Circle, a recognition society for annual benefactors. We will invite them to a school mass and private reception with Principal Sr. Anne Schulz. We will also recognize members in the quarterly issue of the Development newsletter.

SPECIAL EVENT BACKGROUND

Derby Dance - This unique, evolving event appeals to a wide audience. It takes place in MTCES’ new student center, features video horse races, side games, raffles, great food and drinks, and THE RUSTY GRISWOLDS, a hugely popular Cincinnati band specializing in 80’s music. Last year, Derby hosted over 500 guests—residents from all over Butler, Warren, and Hamilton counties.

Mother Teresa 5K - The 5K walk/run takes place at Voice of America Park in West Chester for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. About 150 dedicated participants from all over Southwest Ohio and members of the school community gather for a morning of exercise followed by award and prize giveaways and a variety of music and refreshments.

Extravaganza - MTCES’ largest fundraiser, the Extravaganza, consists of live and silent auctions, dinner, raffles, and dancing. This year’s 10th annual event will draw about 300 guests consisting of school families and Southwest Ohio businesses. New this year- the Extravaganza moves to Cincinnati Marriott North in West Chester.
