Special Events & Fundraisers
In order to service debt accumulated from constructing the school facility, which is nearly $4,000,000, MTCES must hold a variety of fundraisers throughout the school year. This year, Development estimates that these activities, supported by the entire MTCES constituency, will generate about $110,000 towards MTCES’ Development goal.
Golf Scramble, Sept. 24, 2010, Beckett Ridge Country Club in West Chester - This 12th annual event offers golfers a lot more than 18 holes—lunch and dinner, unique hole contests/games, great giveaways, and raffles. Co-Chairpersons, Doug Edwards & Chris Roth
Derby Dance, January 22, 2011, Sister Anne Schulz, C.PP.S. Student Center - This event has earned a reputation as a can’t-miss social opportunity at MTCES. Enjoy live music, dinner, video horse races, games, and raffles, and of course—dancing! Chairperson, Marty Grogan
Extravaganza, April 30, 2011, Cincinnati Marriott North at Union Centre - This year marks the 10th annual ‘Ganza, an evening packed with something for everyone including a buffet dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles, and dancing. Co-Chairpersons, Colette Fischer & Mike Austin
Market Day, Student Center - This program enables MTCES families to order from a wide selection of delicious high quality foods at a value, and then donates a portion of every purchase back to the school. It’s easy to place an order at www.marketday.com. Chairperson, Laurie O’Brien
Recycling, year round, MTCES - The MTCES community collects aluminum cans and paper at the school in return for paybacks from Rumpke and Abitibi Consolidated. Students recycle school paper in order to win the renowned Blue Recycling Bin of Champions. Chairperson, Mary Anne Gardner
