Overview

Since its humble beginnings in the basement of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School (MTCES) has had school parents as its backbone. Parents have always understood and embraced the value of the MTCES experience—an experience that contributes to the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth of its students through its commitment to academic excellence, Christian values, and the liberal arts. It is the parents who, through countless volunteer hours and financial contributions, have made MTCES what it is today.

In May 2005, MTCES hired a full time Development Director to work closely with the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee in planning and implementing a multi-faceted fundraising program for the school’s capital, operating, and programming needs. Through individual gift solicitation, a variety of fundraisers, and proposal submission to foundations and corporations, the Development Director is committed to helping MTCES construct a permanent learning environment and increase operating revenue.
