What parish is this school associated with?

This school is a private Catholic school, much like Summit Country Day and St. Ursula Villa. It has no direct financial association with any parish, though we draw students from the following parishes: Our Lady Of Sorrows, St. Susanna, St. John, , St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Julie Billiart, and Holy Family. Over the years, approximately 65 to 70% of our Catholic students are members of the St. Maximilian Kolbe parish, which is also in Liberty Township. Students from all parishes are welcome to join us!

How can this school be a Catholic and a private school?

Most schools in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati are directly associated with a parish, so it is understandable that there is confusion on this point. We have worked hand in hand with the Archdiocesan Office of Education for over two years to start this school, and as such, we were required to get approval to start a school from the Archdiocesan Education Commission as well as from Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk. They have reviewed our plan very carefully from a demographic, financial, and spiritual viewpoint. A private school can be a Catholic school if and only if it follows a very specific education curriculum, called the Graded Course Of Study, set forth by the Archdiocesan Education Commission. This curriculum is followed by all Archdiocesan schools, whether parish or private. There are only two other private Catholic schools recognized by the Archdiocese. They are Summit Country Day and St. Ursula Villa.

Will there be a waiting list?

Unfortunately, it is inevitable that a waiting list will be established at Mother Teresa given the large and growing population of Warren and Butler counties. There simply are not enough Catholic classrooms being added in the area to accommodate the increasing demand. MTCES has changed its policy for the 2007-08 school year and will carry families placed on the 07-08 waiting list over from year to year per the guidelines set forth in the Admission Policy. Only children ready to attend a given grade the following year will be eligible to register.

Will there be bus service to Mother Teresa?

In short yes. However, each busing district can choose whether or not it is cost-feasible to bus your child.  In general, if you are within 30 normal driving minutes from the school, your child is eligible to be bused.
