Our Philosophy

A fundamentally important element to us in establishing a private school is the Catholic formation of our children. The critical elementary years are those where the child develops his or her identity, confidence, self-respect and individuality. As important, during these years, the child develops his or her spirituality. Inspired by the example of Mother Teresa, the school has adopted as its core values, Faith, Family and Community. The first, Faith, is fostered more clearly through the Archdiocesan Graded Course of Study. The Graded Course of Study consists of the same curricular guidelines that are used in all Catholic schools as a condition of recognition by the Archdiocese. The second key value, Family, is fostered through a strong emphasis placed upon family/parental involvement. We are a private school, managed by a school board comprised largely of Catholic parents such as yourself. This gives you the opportunity to play an integral role in guiding both the vision and operations of the school. The third key value is community. It is our vision that, through active involvement in the community, the students develop a more complete understanding of the world around them as well as a desire and sense of responsibility to contribute their own unique gifts in making this world a better place to live.
