Discover the Expanding Mother Teresa Catholic
125 Openings Fall 2016- Learn More at Open House
Liberty Township, OH (January 26, 2016) –Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School’s (MTCES) academic wing expansion is well underway. The building creates 125 openings for the 2016-17 school year. MTCES is hosting an Open House on Sunday, January 31, 2016, from 2 to 5:00 p.m. Families interested in enrolling their children for the 2016-2017 school year, in grades kindergarten through eight, will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, talk to
teachers and administrators, and gain valuable insight from parents and students. They will also learn about the building addition, which will house 16 classrooms and create dedicated spaces for a library, Spanish and art instruction, tutoring services, and an expanded kindergarten.
In addition to learning about curriculum, fine arts programming, school organizations, and clubs, interested families will also have a chance to learn more details about MTCES’ growth. “Excitement is definitely in the air at MTCES, and we’re excited to share this with others at Open House,” said school Principal, Sr. Anne Schulz. MTCES is the only private K-8 school in West Chester and Liberty Township. Its lengthy waiting list and perennial turning away of hopeful families were the impetus for exploring building expansion.
The Open House experience will include a student-led school tour followed by time to meet with current parents and members of the Board of Trustees to ask questions. Current MTCES parent Jen Gambetta reflects on her family’s Open House experience, “We loved MTCES when we came on our first visit! We were very impressed with the amount of extracurricular classes offered. In addition, after talking to the older students, we were impressed with how well rounded they were.”
Families attending Open House will receive an informational packet including registration materials. To learn more about MTCES, Open House, and other activities and events, visit the school’s website at www.mtces.org. The application packet for the 2016-2017 school year will be available online starting Friday, January 29, 2016. MTCES is one of only three independent, private Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. It is a premier school focused on academic excellence and faith-based education. MTCES, which opened in 1998 to 20 kindergartners in the basement of a church, now serves 466 students in grades K-8 on its 25-acre campus in Liberty Township.
