Mother Teresa Brings Its Largest Fundraiser to New Centre Park Venue
Registration Open for Extravaganza- A Night in Wonderland
Liberty Township, OH (March 1, 2016) – This year, Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School (MTCES) brings its largest fundraiser of the year to the new Centre Park of West Chester Event & Banquet Center. The 15th annual Extravaganza- A Night in Wonderland, sponsored by Yelton Fine Jewelers, will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2016. The gala features live and silent auctions, a variety of raffles, a delectable sit-down dinner, and plenty of music and dancing. For one night, MTCES will transport guests to Wonderland while raising over $100,000 for the school’s new academic wing, technology upgrades, and educational programs.
“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Yelton to bring this event to the community,” said Extravaganza Chairperson and school parent, Jeff Risk. “The elegance associated with Yelton and the sophistication offered by Centre Park has the school poised for another successful fundraiser and entertaining weekend.” To exceed the $100,000 fundraising goal, Risk’s volunteer planning committee has secured some unique auction packages and raffle baskets sure to please a wide audience. Yelton has donated a 14K white gold oval diamond necklace valued at $4,995. Other live auction items include a Napa Valley package, dinner at the Ohio Statehouse, a Chicago trip, and the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a Cincinnati Reds game. Guests can also participate in a tuition/cash raffle, split the pot, and wine grab.
Tickets are $90/per guest and registration forms are available at www.mtces.org. “We typically host about 350 guests, and past Extravaganzas have been an impressive mix of local business leaders, elected officials, school parents, and friends,” explained school Principal and CEO, Sister Anne Schulz. For businesses interested in expanding their customer base in the Butler-Warren County region, the event offers numerous sponsorship packages and advertising opportunities. These are available at www.mtces.org.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and guests can begin bidding on silent auction items. Dinner is served at 7:00 p.m. followed by the live auction. The remainder of the evening includes more silent auction bidding activity and the announcement of all raffle winners, and concludes with dancing.

MTCES is one of only three independent, private Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The School, which opened in 1998 to 20 kindergartners in the basement of a church, now serves 466 students in grades K-8 on its 25-acre campus in Liberty Township. In response to the region’s demand for Catholic education, MTCES is in the midst of a building expansion that will house 16 classrooms and create dedicated spaces for a library, Spanish and art instruction, tutoring services, and an expanded kindergarten. The expansion will open for the 2016-17 school year.
