Safe Parish


MTCES complies with the Decree on Child Protection including background checks for all employees and volunteers as well as fingerprinting for employees. All employees and volunteers must also be current with their SafeParish quarterly training.

All Volunteers/Employees:  New Child Protection Platform -  In July 2021, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati moved to SafeParish as the new platform for child protection training and compliance. SafeParish is an organization that specializes in training and education solutions for organizations world-wide. SafeParish will continue to work with our current background check provider - You must register for a SafeParish account to continue to work and volunteer at MTCES and within the Archdiocese. Ongoing child protection training will still be required for all volunteers and employees and will consist of quarterly online interactive video-based training. 

New employees and volunteers will need to register for a SafeParish account and complete the background and training requirements. Registration instructions can be found in the left hand column of this page.
